Thank you! .. I can't tell you how thrilled we are to hear about the proceeds and their allocation! What a fabulous gift to Yorktown!!! I was running a 7th and 8th grade dance this past Friday at the Elks Club and had no idea that The Alliance for Safe Kids was included in this generous gift from the Festival proceeds. We will certainly thank the Chamber more formally but I just had to let you know right now that this donation will make a world of difference to the families in our community.

We look forward to being more involved with the networking and community service right here in Yorktown. Thank you again.

... congratulations on a first-class event on Saturday. The Festival was a huge success and, I hope, the first of many to come. Second, on behalf of the Dog Park folks, thank you and to all the many people who worked hard to make it a success. We raised over $500 and more importantly, added over 100 new members and the visibility afforded by our presence generated great interest and awareness. We knew there was public interest in a Yorktown dog park, but I would say that even we were surprised at how strong and widespread that interest was! Thank you so very much for assisting us with our participation in the Yorktown Festival and Street Fair.  This was our first event of this sort and your patience and expertise were extremely helpful.  The fair presented a wonderful opportunity for us to present Pillows4Patients to the community.  We were also lucky enough to meet two young children that received our pillows after having surgery at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.

Please extend our gratitude to members of the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce for allowing us to take part in such a wonderful event.  As indicated previously, although our website includes a Scarsdale P.O. Box, we are Yorktown residents.  Due to Ashley's age, we established the mailing address in a neighboring town to protect her. We are proud to have donated over 900 pillows to local hospitals so far and believe that community support has played a huge role in our success.  Ashley hopes that each pillow will provide a sense of comfort during a child's hospital stay and serve as a token of their strength after returning home.  Together, we can make a difference! Thank you!!
